I do marketing and bookings for accommodations in South Africa, having started my venture in the western cape, Garden route.
I have had a great success rate with my bookings thus far and have a large client base established.
I have chosen to do bookings for unique places that are very different from the usual places. In terms of unique, my places are off the beaten track and each one has something very special to offer. For example I have a few places in the forest, one deep in the mountains of Uniondale and another on a beautiful farm with stunning natural areas all around. When I started this I realized how high the demand is for unique places like those, and being in marketing I answered that demand and began to provide these unique places to my client base. But success creates more demand so I am always looking for more unique places to add to my list.
My reach on Facebook is quite wide, with over 150 groups that I post my adverts on, and many of them are international, thus my places gets worldwide attention. I add more groups on a monthly basis. Exposure for accommodation rentals is of utmost importance and can really boost a business greatly. My aim with each of my places is to get as much exposure as possible so that we get ample bookings in.
I also go the extra mile for my clients, offering free photo shoots for many of the places if they are within a reasonable travel range for me. I write special articles to draw even more attention and to further get a larger audience I have set up a Youtube account and I post little marketing videos of the places. I have also created an Instagram, twitter and gumtree account to make sure I use as many platforms as possible, and will continue adding more platforms. Facebook is however the largest place for advertising and my ads has enjoyed the attention of thousands upon thousands of people. One of my articles has reached to date nearly 13 000 readers and once the article was posted the bookings flooded in.
I deeply pride myself on my work that I do and I love to help my clients. I handle every single enquiry that comes in, day or night, I am always available. I spend around 14 hours per day online.
I have been in the client service industry for over ten years, most of that being in real estate and tourism. I have also been a General Manager for a vacation resort and loved my job.
With all my skills combined I decided to create my own business and do what I love every day and also help as many people with their accommodations as possible.
When Covid hit, many small places suffered greatly and have really struggled to get back in action, that is where I come in. Each of my places gets special attention and I will advise my hosts on how to best do things and I will help them with any task they need doing, as well as bring them in as many bookings as possible.
I want to be a benefit for my hosts and I want them to thrive and have an excellent business. This is what I strive for, to help my community and to help people who suffered heavy financial losses during Covid.
Having seen how much success the accommodations has gotten in, I am now expanding to do marketing and bookings for Wedding venues as there has been a rather high demand on my end for that, and as always I shall try my best to supply what is asked for.
